We've spent many hours inspecting countless features and specifications of individual units to come up with a list of the top rated KOHLER toilets. We've seen plenty of questions being asked online about the Persuade toilet collection and what they can expect from it. Our aim is to answer many of these queries below in a detailed buyers guide covering all functionality and design aspects below.
Using our own criteria based on the type, flush mechanism, bowl, water consumption, design, comfort, and price, we've given individual units a rough score out of one hundred.
Image | Product | Flush | GPF | Bowl | Rating? | Review |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
K-3654-0 | Dual | 0.8 / 1.6 | Elongated | 85% | Here | |
K-3723-0 | Dual | 1.0 / 1.6 | Elongated | 84% | Here |
Looks can be deceiving. That is our first thought when looking at the 3654 model. At first glance, it appears to have a one piece style, but it's actually a compact two piece design that includes a seamless, skirted trap.
And despite it being reasonably small (31.5 by 27.6 by 14.2 inches), it still includes an elongated bowl which has several advantages over round options. Comfort being one of those.
Not the most efficient toilet out there, but it does give you the option of picking between two different flush powers (0.8 and 1.6 GPF) thanks to its dual flushing mechanism.
Unfortunately this doesn't come with a toilet seat, so you'll want to hold back a little cash if your working with a tight budget. The K-4636-0 Cachet quiet close, K-4008-0 Reveal, and K-4774-0 Brevia are among the most frequently purchased alongside this unit.
The 3723 Curv is a traditional floor mounted unit that comes a couple of inches taller than the standard. From base to rim it measures sixteen and a half inches. With the addition of a seat, which doesn't come as part of its package, it will become what's known as right height in this industry, a term used to describe loos which are more accessible and meet ADA standards.
Like the model above, this operates on a double flush system. 1.0 GPF for liquid waste, and 1.6 GPF for solids. With regards to performance, this model has a listed MaP rating of 1000 grams which is top of its scoring scale and tells us it handles waste effectively.
We believe it looks great, with curves around the bowl alongside smooth edges which help give it a contemporary look.
When looking for the best home toilets, you're going to be bombarded with a large number of phrases and terms that you're not familiar with. We provide a jargon buster for this very purpose. In addition to this, we have written up a list of other things you need to consider before you purchase anything below.
Flush style - We look into the mechanism used immediately when researching products. The great thing about this market is that there is so much to choose from. Even for fans of more technologically advanced washrooms there are auto flush toilets which are completely hands free and great for hygienic purposes.
Bowl height - Standard size bowls aren't going to cut it for all households. You may have a scenario when you have people living in your home that have mobility issues. There are options available that can help with this. This list of tall toilets for elderly is a good place to start as they usually measure at minimum seventeen inches and above including the seat.
WaterSense label - Would you prefer a eco flush toilet, or a standard option. Eco units start at 1.28 gallons per flush, but are known to go lower, which can have a significant impact on your water bills and the environment as the years go by. Especially if your home has a lot of people living there.
Rough in - We have produced a simple guide for readers to follow so that you can learn how to measure your rough in. Click here to read it.
