We take a lot of things for granted in life. Especially what we already own. Sometimes we look forward with tunnel vision and work towards something bigger or more expensive. Some people think this means moving into your dream home. The reality is, you can make your current home match many of your visions by improving existing rooms. The bathroom is no exception to this rule. We've compiled a list of things you can introduce that can certainly give your bathroom a luxurious feel.
Shower head - Stuck with an ancient shower head that has very low water coverage? That just won't do. In this day and age there are plenty of affordable rain shower heads that have a excellent flow rate and much bigger circumference. We certainly noticed the difference when we made the switch!
Wall hung toilet - Whilst not for everyone, wall mounted toilets are a fantastic way to save space. For my household, this was a massive improvement as it made space for a countertop and mirror for people to clean there teeth and such. Consider going for a toilet with a touchless flush for convenience and hygiene.
Mirrors - Fogless options are better, but a mirror of any design is a must have in our view. If you've got the room for a full body mirror, we recommend going for it as it can create the illusion that the bathroom is larger than it is.
House plants - A couple of plants strategically placed can give the area a bit of character and color. Not only that, they improve the air quality, and studies have shown they have an effect on mood.
Dimming lights - The ability to lower the lighting levels is just another way to help with the mood. A dimmed room can help with relaxation after a long day at work.
Clothes peg - You don't want to be forced to leave your clothes on the floor or over the sink when washing, you run the risk of them getting wet. Thats why a set of pegs is ideal.
